Spring 2015

Over time bunker edges start to fail, especially when raking with mechanical machines.  These specific repairs are time consuming but worth it in the end for both aesthetics and playability purposes

#13 GRN side bunker

Bunker maintenance can be a tedious job but important so players have a fair chance getting out of the hazard and continuing in play

Irrigation supply pipe repair / 2014

In order to maintain plant health we obviously need a main water supply.  We draw effluent water from the adjacent hospital which is pumped into our holding ponds and eventually used to irrigate the plants on the golf course.  You all have noticed irrigation repairs are a constant battle due to high pressures, faulty purposes, compaction from above ground and age of components.  Some repairs are bigger than others as you can see in these pictures.  30' excavation and hard laboring work had to be done to fix this break.

#11 drainage project / 2014

Trenched and laid 10" non-permeable pipe which has permeable pipe and weeping tile tied into it. This was designed to direct drain water from surrounding areas as it is the lowest part of the golf course.
